Hofner built the model 4574 from 1960 to 1974, and technically the ‘Verithin’ name applies to the Selmer-branded guitars – but as they are otherwise extremely similar, the name has crossed brand boundaries. Hofner now includes ‘Verythin’ models in their standard lineup.
