The new Ltd. Edition 1963 J-45 has a Select Spruce top finished in four beautiful colours - Ebony, Faded Cherry Sunburst, Vintage Sunburst, and Wine Red. The top has 3-ply binding in white and back and the back of the body has 2-ply binding just like the original. The classic pickguard is white for the ebony and wine red finishes and tortoise style for faded cherryburst and vintage sunburst finishes. The J-45's back and sides are made of select mahogany and the solid mahogany neck has a classic 1960s SlimTaper profile that is glued to the body with a dovetail neck joint. The neck has a smooth Epiphone rosewood fingerboard with historic styled dot inlays, a 14" radius, 20 medium frets, and a 1.68" nut.
